As most of our products are hand made in small batches by us and our organic manufacturers, there may be slight variations from batch to batch. We use natural emulsifiers, so if your product separates, just shake (with the lid tightly closed) and continue use.
As only natural or no preservatives are used, products should be used up within 6 - 12 months - creams, gels and lotions within 6 months, liquids and powders such as soaps, scrubs, shampoos and face/body washes within 12 months. We suggest you keep your organic/natural creams and lotions away from sunlight or keep it in the fridge. Our personal practice is to scoop out small portions in small (cleaned & disinfected)glass jars and bottles for daily use and keeping the big jar/bottle in the fridge. This ensures freshness in our very, very humid climate.
Our products are labeled with all the ingredients. Although it is rare for organic/truly natural (not containing petro-chemical by-products, alcohol or acids) to cause allergic reactions, it is still advisable that you read the ingredients carefully and also do a patch test (on the inside of your elbow or your ankle) before use. Very sensitive individuals may experience irritation from natural products just the way they would commercial, off-the-shelves products. Stop use immediately if you experience any irritation, and do contact us and let us know. We will try to assist you in selecting another suitable product.
Yasmins & Leopard Lily are not responsible for any individual reaction to any particular ingredient as the onus is on the customer to check the ingredients or check with us on suitability of the product to their skin type.
If you are not going to be home/in the office when you are expecting our delivery, we would greatly appreciate a call from you to prevent a wasted trip (and wasted petrol) by our delivery staff. Our product prices are well below most organic or pseudo-organic products in the market here, so it's important to keep costs down to save YOU, our treasured customers, your hard-earned money. Plus, we believe in conserving our Earth's natural resources at all times and your support in this would be fantastic!
